We focus on bringing positive change to the lives of the people by addressing various issues encompassing their economic, social, and legal aspects.

Mahesh Gramin Seva Sansthan is a non-profit society (NGO) committed to fostering positive change and sustainable development in communities across Amroha District. Established 2008, we have dedicated our efforts to addressing various social, economic, and legal challenges faced by individuals and groups.
Objectives:
1. Advocacy: We advocate for the rights and interests of marginalized communities, striving to bring about systemic changes through policy advocacy and community mobilization.

Our program focuses on promoting and safeguarding the rights of children and women to make choices and decisions within sexual relationships. We address issues such as child sexual abuse, workplace sexual harassment, domestic violence, forced marriages, child mobility, child trafficking, the Girl Icon program, and road safety awareness. Through education, advocacy, counseling, and support services, we strive to raise awareness, prevent abuse, empower survivors, and create safer environments. By promoting gender equality, consent, and respect, we aim to eradicate harmful practices and empower children and women to lead lives free from violence and coercion, ensuring their rights to choose and decide are upheld.

Sexual Harassment at Workplace

Sexual harassment is considered as a violation of a woman’s fundamental right to equality, which right is guaranteed by Articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution. Workplace sexual harassment creates an insecure and hostile work environment, thereby discouraging women’s participation in work and adversely affecting their social and economic growth. Sexual harassment is not only viewed as a discrimination problem related to safety and health, but also as a violation of fundamental rights and human rights. It is offensive at a very personal level and in a way undermines the right to equal opportunity and equal treatment of women at the workplace.

बाल श्रम उन्मूलन अभियान 01-06-20230 - 30-06-2023

व्यावसायिक उद्देश्य से किए जा रहे किसी कार्य के लिए 14 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चे को नियुक्त किया जाता है तो वह बाल श्रम कहलाता है। इसे भारत में गैर कानूनी करार दिया गया है। भारत के संविधान में मूल अधिकारों के अनुच्छेद 24 के तहत भारत में बाल श्रम पर पाबंदी लगाई गई है। वेश्यावृत्ति या उत्खनन, कृषि, माता पिता के व्यापार में मदद, अपना स्वयं का लघु व्यवसाय या अन्य छोटे मोटे काम हो सकते हैं कुछ बच्चे के गाइड के रूप में काम करते हैं, कभी-कभी उन्हें दुकान और रेस्तरां (जहाँ वे वेटर के रूप में भी काम करते हैं) के काम में लगा दिया जाता है। अन्य बच्चों से बलपूर्वक परिश्रम-साध्य और दोहराव वाले काम लेते हैं जैसे :बक्से को बनाना, जूते पॉलिश,धनिया बेचना,स्टोर के उत्पादों को भंडारण करना और साफ-सफाई करना। हालांकि, कारखानों और मिठाई की दूकान, के अलावा अधिकांश बच्चे अनौपचारिक क्षेत्र में काम करते हैं, जैसे "सड़कों पर कई चीज़ें बेचना, पटाकों के कारखानों में, कृषि में काम करना या [बच्चों का घरेलू कार्य|घरों में छिप कर काम करना] - ये कार्य सरकारी श्रम निरीक्षकों और मीडिया की जांच की पहुँच से दूर रहते है। "और ये सभी काम सभी प्रकार के मौसम में तथा न्यूनतम वेतन के लिए किया गया था यूनिसेफ के अनुसार, दुनिया में लगभग २.५ करोड बच्चे, जिनकी आयु २-१७ साल के बीच है वे बाल-श्रम में लिप्त हैं, जबकि इसमें घरेलू श्रम शामिल नहीं है। सबसे व्यापक अस्वीकार कर देने वाले बाल-श्रम के रूप हैं जिनमे [बच्चों का सैन्य उपयोग] साथ ही बाल वेश्यावृत्ति . शामिल है। कम विवादास्पद और कुछ प्रतिबंधों के साथ कानूनी रूप से मान्य कुछ काम है जैसे बाल अभिनेता और बाल गायक, साथ ही साथ स्कूलवर्ष (सीजनल कार्य) के बाद का कार्य और अपना कोई व्यापार जो स्कूल के घंटों के बाद होने काम आदि शामिल है।

जल जीवन मिशन (JJM) स्वच्छ पेयजल प्रशिक्षण

जल जीवन मिशन (JJM) एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है जो ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पानी की सुविधा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गई है। इस मिशन का मुख्य उद्देश्य है ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में प्रदान किया जाने वाला पानी की सुविधा को सुनिश्चित करना। यह मिशन न केवल जल संसाधन के प्रबंधन में सुधार करता है, बल्कि जल के संगठन, प्रबंधन, पुनः चक्रीकरण, और जल के प्रयोग के प्रदर्शन में भी सहायक होता है। जल जीवन मिशन के अंतर्गत, ग्राम प्रधान जी को प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है ताकि वे अपने क्षेत्र में पानी की सुविधा को उन्नत करने के लिए सक्षम हों। उन्हें स्थानीय समस्याओं का समाधान करने के लिए नेतृत्व करने की क्षमता प्राप्त कराई जाती है। इस प्रकार, जल जीवन मिशन के अंतर्गत ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पानी की सुविधा को उन्नत करने में ग्राम प्रधान जी का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान होता है। इससे ग्रामीण समुदाय को न केवल पानी की सुविधा मिलती है, बल्कि किसानों और अन्य स्थानीय लोगों को भी बचती अनेक समस्याओं से राहत मिलती है।

अमरोहा, 12 जनवरी भारत के महान् आध्यात्मिक संत स्वामी विवेकानंद के जन्म दिवस पर विवेकवान् नेतृत्व विकास के लिए समर्पित "पंचपरमेश्वर विद्यापीठ" प्रशिक्षण एवम संदर्भ केंद्र का शुभारंभ अतिथियों द्वारा केंद्र का स्वामी विवेकानंद के चित्र पर पुष्पार्चन कर किया गया। महेश ग्रामीण सेवा संस्थान, डाक बंगला कालोनी निकट रेलवे स्टेशन अमरोहा द्वारा संचालित विद्यापीठ केन्द्र के शुभारंभ कार्यक्रम पर एल डी एम कार्यालय से श्री योगेश कुमार ने कहा कि समाज को सही दिशा में गतिशील करने के लिये सद् विवेकी नेतृत्व की आवश्यकता होती है। बाल कल्याण समिति से श्री हेमराज सिंह ने कहा कि कुशल एवं विवेकवान् नेतृत्व, अन्तर्विरोधों में उचित सामंजस्य स्थापित करके समाज के सामुदायिक स्वरूप को संरक्षित और संवर्धित करता है। अमरोहा पंच परमेश्वर विद्यापीठ केन्द्र के संरक्षक श्री महेश सिंह ने कहा कि यह पंचपरमेश्वर विद्यापीठ विवेकवान नेतृत्व के विकास हेतु अध्ययन एवं प्रशिक्षण का एक महत्वपूर्ण केन्द्र है। इसके अन्तर्गत समाज और गाँव जीवन से सम्बन्धित विषयों तथा पंचायतों में बेहतर नेतृत्व क्षमता विकास हेतु सार्थक अध्ययन, प्रशिक्षण, शोध एवं प्रयोगात्मक कार्य किया जायेगा। विद्यापीठ के संचालक शशिराज जी ने कहा कि विवेकवान नेतृत्व विकास हेतु पंचपरमेश्वर विद्यापीठ द्वारा देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सहयोगी संगठनो द्वारा प्रशिक्षण एवं संदर्भ केंद्र बनाये जा रहे हैं। इसी श्रृंखला में आज अमरोहा में भी एक प्रशिक्षण और सन्दर्भ केन्द् की स्थापना की गई है।
